Blake Lively
Born to a talent manager and an actor-director, Blake Lively is a natural in Hollywood. She has four siblings who also work in the industry — an older brother, Eric, and three half-siblings from her mother’s previous marriage: Lori, Robyn and Jason.
Lively made her professional acting debut in the 1998 film Sandman directed by her father, Ernie. She went on to star in 2005’s The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants while still in high school and rose to prominence with the premiere of The CW series Gossip Girl in 2007. Lively costarred in the hit show alongside Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and her now-ex Penn Badgley until its series finale in 2012.
After splitting from Badgley in 2010, Lively briefly dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio in the spring of 2011. Later that year, she began dating future husband Ryan Reynolds, whom she met on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010. The twosome tied the knot in September 2012 and subsequently welcomed three daughters: James (born December 2014), Inez (born September 2016) and Betty (born October 2019). Lively subtly revealed in February 2023 that the pair quietly welcomed their fourth child.
Making a seamless transition back to the big screen after Gossip Girl, Lively went on to star in films such as The Age of Adaline (2015), The Shallows (2016) and A Simple Favor (2018). She made her directorial debut in November 2021 with her close friend Taylor Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” music video, which she also cowrote.
